Theme: "Imaging the Athlete and Returning to Play"

A joint SIMS & ESSR day, entirely in English, dedicated to musculoskeletal ultrasound, led by Dr. Lionel Pesquer. Hands-on workshops with international experts will provide a unique opportunity to refine your skills.
📅 Friday 20 June
- SIMS (in French): Focus on injuries by location (hip, elbow, extremities…), women in sports, pediatric imaging, and imaging for para-athletes.
- ESSR (in English): A rich and diverse program offering engaging discussions and multifaceted discoveries.
📅 Saturday 21 June
Joint sessions on "Return to Play" will bring together experts from both societies. With simultaneous translation, topics will include:
- Tendons and muscles in athletes
- Stress fractures
- Ligament repair
- Imaging of shoulder instability
- A roundtable discussion will close the congress, focusing on returning to play after muscle injuries and image-guided percutaneous procedures to accelerate recovery.
